Madimack InverTITAN vs. InverELITE: Which One Should You Buy?

If you’re considering a Madimack inverter pool heat pump, you may be deciding between the InverTITAN and InverELITE. Both are high-efficiency inverter heat pumps capable of heating and cooling your pool, but they are designed for slightly different applications. The biggest differences come down to heating capacity, cold-weather performance, efficiency, operating noise, and warranty coverage.

Madimack InverELITE

The InverELITE is an excellent choice for homeowners looking for maximum efficiency, exceptionally quiet operation, and extended-season heating. With a peak COP of up to 15.0, the InverELITE is designed to produce a significant amount of pool heat while using considerably less electricity than a traditional single-speed heat pump. It is also extremely quiet, with sound levels as low as approximately 30.8 dB.

One of the InverELITE’s biggest advantages is its ability to operate in colder weather. The InverELITE can operate in outdoor temperatures down to approximately 5°F, making it an excellent option for colder climates and homeowners who want to extend their swimming season well beyond the traditional summer months. The InverELITE is available with heating capacity up to approximately 116,000 BTUs and provides both pool heating and cooling.

Madimack InverTITAN

The InverTITAN is designed for applications where additional heating capacity is the priority. With models reaching up to 140,000 BTUs, the InverTITAN provides substantially more maximum heating capacity than the InverELITE. This makes it an excellent choice for larger swimming pools or applications where additional BTU output is needed.

The InverTITAN is also extremely efficient, with a peak COP of up to 14.6, and operates at sound levels as low as approximately 34.4 dB. Like the InverELITE, the InverTITAN provides both heating and cooling. The InverTITAN operates in outdoor temperatures down to approximately 15°F. That’s excellent cold-weather capability, but if you expect to operate your pool heat pump in extremely cold conditions, the InverELITE’s ability to operate down to approximately 5°F gives it the advantage.

Wi-Fi Control Comes Standard

Both the InverELITE and InverTITAN feature Wi-Fi capability, allowing you to control and monitor your pool heat pump remotely from your smartphone. This makes it easy to adjust your desired pool temperature, monitor operation, and control your heat pump without having to be standing at the equipment pad. For second homes, vacation properties, or anyone who simply wants convenient control of their pool temperature, Wi-Fi connectivity is a valuable feature of both Madimack heat pumps.

InverELITE vs. InverTITAN Warranty

Warranty coverage is another difference between these two models. The both InverELITE and Inver TITAN offer a 10-year compressor warranty and an impressive 25-year heat exchanger warranty. The difference is in the parts and labor: InverElite offers 4 years P&L, whereas InverTITAN offers 5 years P&L. For homeowners planning to keep their heat pump for many years, the longer compressor and heat exchanger coverage gives the homeowner a considerable warranty advantage.

Which Madimack Heat Pump Should You Choose?

For many residential pools, we believe the InverELITE offers an outstanding combination of efficiency, quiet operation, cold-weather performance, and long-term warranty protection. Its ability to operate down to approximately 5°F also makes it especially attractive for colder climates and extended swimming seasons.

The InverTITAN makes the most sense when additional heating capacity is the priority. With output available up to 140,000 BTUs, it is better suited for larger pools that may require more heating capacity than the InverELITE can provide.

So, the decision doesn’t necessarily come down to which Madimack heat pump is “better.” It's more about which Madimack pool heater is right for you. Choose the InverELITE for maximum efficiency, quieter operation, colder-weather performance, and longer compressor and heat exchanger warranty coverage. Choose the InverTITAN when you have a larger pool and need the additional heating capacity of a unit producing up to 140,000 BTUs.
